The Dick Hamer Jazz Quartet - Booked
The older students on the 2014 Summer School requested a jazz workshop for 2015 - We have booked the Dick Hamer Quartet from Cardiff. They will work with the older students on Friday afternoon and perform for us in the evening.

All your drawings on the huge banner for Mr Takahashi's birthday have been well received. He writes - "Thank you for such a marvelous, enormous birthday card from 2014 Summer School in Malvern. I'll decorate with the banner at the party." Happy 77th Birthday!
Christ Church Concert
At our Public Concert this year we raised £258 for the roof fund at Christ Church. They are very happy with this and loved the joy in your performances.
Nickel the Suzuki Beaver
Nickel the Suzuki Beaver will be joining us for Summer School this year. He lives in Canada and loves going to Suzuki Workshops!
Origami & Talent Show
The origami paper arrived today - just one of the Japanese activies for Summer School. Also, this year, back by popular demand, is the Talent Show.
Extra flute teacher
As we have 33 flutes signed up for this year's Summer School we have needed to book another flute teacher. We have Kelly Williamson from Canada, some of you may remember her from 2010 in Penzance.
